Other "stats" are also both exaggerated or omit nuance.
For example, men actually do commit 85% of murders (not 95%, though) and comprise 81% of victims, so it's mostly men killing other men.
Not to mention the fact that among ~170.000.000 men living in the US, 13469 of them, which is 0,008%, committed murder in 2024 - and that's in the country with high crime rate, high police violence, and quite a few gangs. The chance of a regular person to be a murderer is even lower.
