I actually love this guy's channel, but this almost made me spit beer on my keyboard. It's all about blacksmithing and medieval weaponry and military technology and afaik he doesn't seem to be a chud.

Love when they do weird weapons. It seems to me that people who do experimental archaeology like the arrows vs armour stuff are more likely to be okay politically, might be a selection bias from me though

I love that they debunked the debunking fire arrows stuff. I fuckin knew they were real!
But like seriously I knew all about the ways they made those payloads because adjacent to my history studies I also studied medieval weapons tech and knew all about how they solved the problem of keep the flame alight in flight at speed. People take the fact that advanced physics didn't exist and just assume people couldn't just figure some stuff out based on incomplete knowledge of first principles of physics.
Nobody knew exactly why a trebuchet was more effective than a simple catapult but they figured it out and it worked and it was adopted widely because it was effective. Nobody knew exactly why flaming arrows would go out before reaching a target, but understood the utility of such a breakthrough and figured it out through a primitive use of the scientific method.

LindyBeige lacks Todd's bear-like physique and would never be allowed in the shield wall. Also I bet he couldn't draw a longbow
