Anthropic released a blog post detailing how they spent $20k to get a swarm of 16 Claudes to write a c compiler (they had to use gcc to do debugging), and the first issue on the repo is 🧑‍🍳💋

So it built a c compiler that can compile the Linux 6.9 kernel but only the Linux 6.9 kernel. That'd really par for the course for LLMs.

This took $20k worth of tokens btw.
