The society described is a boring-ass soul-crushingly conformist cookie cutter suburb, as in, exactly the sort of "good old American small town" conservatives like Shapiro champion

The only difference is that in the society in the book, the boring-ass cookie cutter housing was guaranteed and rent-free

staggeringly racist description of the black football player.

In another one of his books, True Allegiance, in the dramatis personae section, he describes one of his black characters as an "inner city race hustler."

Amazing that he also has a law degree from Harvard lmao

Yeah, True Allegiance is the novel he wrote. IIRC the character you mentioned is also a moustache-twirlingly evil grifter who's only interested in money.
