Yes everything for these people is transactional. Her dipshit husband dying the biggest win she could possibly imagine, she clearly was not in love with him. She might not even be capable of love. That woman fucking terrifies me. Yes I'd be glad too but also I never would have married him. She is a fucking demon literally.
