The cruelty is the point.
This is partly why I hate Obama so much. He had so many opportunities to reform this (Ferguson sticks out the most) and instead he doubled down on militarized police.
Obama bombed civilian targets. Don't let the current crap create the illusion that before Trump all presidents were peaceful rainbow good guys.
This is true but let's choose not total Nazi party if at all possible. I know we don't actually have the right to vote for our president... We should say "their president" since we don't actually vote for a president. But we get to choose local government officials, judges and representatives...basically the useless leaches that is not empowered by our way of government to do anything about a president who is clearly a senile crazy racist asshole. So this pile of dung is just there getting paid all the money that could go into filling potholes. But we can vote for a different pile of politician dung.
I'd like the guarantee of an effective and equal vote for every single American older than 15 years old. None of this fucking representative shit. If you want more representation because you live at the peak of a mountain...move? Otherwise our government should figure out why rebuilding a road to your house is important to the rest of us. Like if your farm is the only right handed peach farm in the world, heck yeah, get you a high-speed rail station, I want some right handed peaches. Everyone is aware of food and where it comes from. I think farmers need as much support as we can provide since their production makes all of our lives better. I'd like to reroute police pay to farmers. Brand spanking new Crownvic combines for every farmer ever year LOL.
Our government needs to serve us. It doesn't now.

You realize that trump was impeached twice by the dems and the republicans wouldn't let that happen? There are so many things to focus on right now, Obama isn't one of them.

We expect the republicans to build fascism. We don't expect the only opposition to fascism at the federal level to maintain and expand those same institutions.
The dems expect us to vote for them, but fund Trump's gestapo at every opportunity.
Obama and Boden and most Dems are similar to Van Papen in that they thought they could just restrain fascism and it would pass. Instead, by attempting to restrain it, they emboldened fascism and allowed it to thrive.
But they are not cancer itself. Fascism is. They were just unfit to provide any opposition to it.
Democrats are controlled opposition. It's classic good cop / bad cop shit.

DHS, ICE, and CBP were established by acts of congress. Obama couldnt have just gotten rid of them or reformed them beyond executive orders which he did with things such as DACA for Dreamers.
Congress would have acted if he acted illegally like Trump does today as congress abdicates.

You hate Obama? Despite his flaws Obama was easily the most ethical President we’ve had in generations. With our current system and political climate I see him being about as good as it gets.

It’s a systemic issue that provides us such terrible candidates. Pretending the bar can be set higher, GIVEN THE CURRENT SYSTEM, is naively optimistic.

Y'know, it's very believable and absolutely worth investigating, but the Trump admin has the full epstein files, if there was something truly damning about Clinton in them they would literally be unable to shut up about it. They would be trying to drown out everything else shouting that investigation from the rooftops. I'm really starting to think it's BS and Clinton just let himself get schmoozed by Esptein like a lot of people did.
The only reason both the Trump and Biden admins wouldn't release the files is if powerful names within both parties are in it.
