Of what Trump is saying? No clue about the whole "we've been trying for centuries to get it" and the whole "china and russia want" is only true to the extent that the US uses Greenland to store nukes (even dropped one in ´62) and house military bases, which is pretty agressive, so I'd imagine China and/or Russia would like for that to Not Be The Case. I'm sure capitalists from every nation wants the mineral rights, which the US currently holds.
The dogsled thing is kinda funny, it's called the Sirius Patrol. It's not the only defense though because the US has military bases on Greenland. Currently one active, but there's an active invitation to make more. And there's other stuff too, but it's kinda a weird thing to say.
World peace is at stake in the sense that if Denmark doesn't give Greenland away (which Denmark cannot do, that is up to Greenlands own government) and the US invades, then NATO is kind of at an awkward crossroads.
