Movie is probably done but they are squatting on it until the end of the year to hype. But I can't get hyped for Dune cult of bland ass watching paint dry monochrome empty deliveries so Doom slop it is for me.

the second movie was supposed to be psychedelic and weird and they were supposed to hang out in warm comfy caves that smell strongly of farts and sweat, but noooo tabr is a modernist cathedral somehow, and spice visions is just someone telling you stuff?

They fucking ruined Jessica's spiceagony! It was my favorite scene from the first boom and they fucking blew it, some blue smoke swirls for like 30 seconds and that's it!!!

Yeah when Paul trips on spice in the cave before fighting Jamis, the book goes full on psychedelic to try and help the reader visualize how it feels to see the future
