You people have obviously never been to New Orleans. There is not better food in the world. (That I've tried at least) Tourist traps don't count either.

French and caribbean influenced (which is actual good food), not british-based like 99% of the US.

Lots of US food is based on German food, which also helps explain why it's so bad.

Do love the amount of tubers they eat, but I don't know if I've had much that beats a proper gumbo and some bread pudding.
