Also I noticed they're doing this thing where it's "maduro supporters" doing this or that, with the implication being that they're all just the dictator's goons or part of his cult of personality or whatever, subtly removing the agency of Venezuelans to have political ideals of their own

lol, this is Amerikkka, the percentage of people who are confusing Maduro for Castro is probably higher than our literacy rates

Based on reactions from my family when I showed them Maduro's kidnapping pics: My partner thought he was Saddam Hussein, and the kids thought he was Dr. Disrespect.
