It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Rule 8: The subject of a post cannot be low hanging fruit, that is comments/posts made by a private person that have low amount of upvotes/likes/views. Comments/Posts made on other instances that are accessible from hexbear are an exception to this. Posts that do not meet this requirement can be posted to !shitreactionariessay@lemmygrad.ml

Rule 9: if you post ironic rage bait im going to make a personal visit to your house to make sure you never make this mistake again

I don’t use pronouns because I don’t want anyone to ever dox me on the internet. In my view, none of us should be sharing personal information

oh no, I've been narrowed down to approximately half the population. whatever will I do Dr Gabriel Aby?

Anonymous pronouns are just as valid as other pronouns.

You will let slip identifiable information on here over time, using pronouns does give some info away for free. Any info can help build a profile on you and if the above user had rarer pronouns that makes them even more identifiable.

If you have in comments or post told people you live in a certain town and that town has 10000 people, cutting the pool by 50% or more is bad.

Using their desired pronouns could also be a danger to them if government/family discover the account.

the better way to handle this is to intentionally lie periodically. if you want to do that with your pronouns, go for it. but for trans people, it's very difficult to completely lie about pronouns so we should lie about other things.

Me narrowing down my search from every single person in the world to maybe a few million with the more obscure pronouns, if the user isn't lying.

Shit, just fluently speaking any specific language with gendered pronouns probably narrows down the potential pool of people much further than a subjective estimation of one's gender that may or may not be a truthful indication of how one actually presents off the internet
