Shaun was probably the "second wave" of breadtube. I still remember when breadtube was just a network of tiny channels - most of which were around 1000 subs. But yeah, Shaun is really good still
I'll take your word for it, i really wasn't plugged into video essay youtube back then. Too busy getting worked up about DotA 2 stuff or something.
