Only polling above Vance by 2% in the popular vote should be extremely embarrassing.
This is how the Democratic party measures itself though. They find the most unpopular person, beat that person by a margin of error in polling, think this means their strategy is surefire, and then somehow are surprised when they get blown the fuck out

This is because they get to still be Important People even if they lose, like how Hillary is still being interviewed like her opinions matter in 2025. It doesn't matter if they win or lose, policy is for the donors. Being Important is why they're in the game.
This is also the first poll showing this. Every other poll so far had Vance winning.
