remember a few years ago when the "youtube algorithm" would find cool new stuff for you to listen to? now i instinctively distrust any video that's been posted within the last two years, even if there's an "album name", "artist name" and "year". playlists without artist names are no-go zones. going to the account page to see if they upload more than one video per week. seeing how obvious "ai" videos get 100x more views than actual music

downvoting "ai" music has now led to youtube only serving me videos of DJs playing old vinyls, or videos i watched 8 years ago
