It's almost cute how liberals have convinced themselves that Hegseth will face tHe CourTs!!! because he double tapped ships and and in so doing killed survivors and that's a wAr CrImE. I didn't want to be an (highly annoyed) reply guy so I put Hegseth into my filters. I could have replied and I could reply a 1,000 times with stuff like "Obama doubled tapped 'enemy combatants'. The Israelis routinely double tap civilians even if the target is a hospital. Double tappping is a norm for people and countries that will never face accountability."

But replying would be utterly pointless. Bluesky libs will refuse to think and listen. They are in "tHe CourTs!!!" mode. Hegseth Man Bad and he must be held accountable!

It was super duper illegal for Obama to kill an American teenager using a drone strike. He did it anyway. Libs ignore it or make excuses. Obama will never face any consequences for it. I don't like Trump (obviously), but he's the president Americans deserve.

At one point Obama had a legal problem and a PR problem. My favorite about his two terms was how they dealt with drone strikes killing "too many" civilians. He and his guys came up with a clever workaround. I forget the exact ages but basically speaking - nearly any adult male killed in a drone strike was an "enemy combatant". Easy-peasy!

I don't remember what legal and linguistic trickery they used to justify double taps.
