A new "Starship Troopers" movie is in the works. "District 9" filmmaker Neill Blomkamp is writing & directing. It will be based on the 1959 novel and it won't be a remake of the 1997 movie. [2025-05] (comicbookmovie.com)

There hasn't been any new news since around May. But that hasn't stopped Imdb from churning out "articles" that are merely copy-and-pastes from many months old info like the article I posted.
