So when my cat gives me kisses, he thinks he's in charge (he is. Cats don't have owners, they have staff). Good to know. Wonder how he'd react if I licked him.

that's pretty much how mine acted when i tried. thought it may have been because i realized i'd just licked a cat and had to run to wash the hair off my tongue.

Yeah... that is about how he reacts when I kiss him in the usual human manner of kissing someone on the cheek. Either he looks at me like that or he licks me all over my lips specifically. Which is the one place I find "sandpaper kisses" annoying rather than a pleasant sensory experience. But it's so cute that I can't be mad. Kind of like how I boop his nose so much, that when he puts his paw, or his nose, on my nose, all I can really do is go "awwwww, he booped me!"
