Domestication isn't necessarily an objectively symbiotic affair. Pets are already a much more commensal thing tha they were.

I might argue Raccoons may just be parasitising on us by overflooding our dopamine receptors with cuteness. I think animals all over the world are slowly doing it.

And I'm not complaining.
