I mean, a potato would run Linux. Or a freaking stuffed penguin.

(Honestly, with all those plush animal "educational toys" out there with complex electronics inside, and how many basic electronic things today use some sort of microcontroller or embedded computer... there might well be stuffed penguins out there that could. Lol.)

Check out Action Retro on YouTube, he does a lot of "And what do we do with old shitboxes here? We run Linux on them!" and "It's not e-waste if you still have a use for it". Not toasters per se, but a whole lot of "potatoes" and "nuggets".
