This is one of the things I understand least about modern billionaires. They dont seem to do anything with their money. I would be pissing away my fortune on making movies good
He's always in a race to the bottom to impress 30 something 4chan groypers. When you have world class money like that why on earth are you wanting of the approval of some of the worst people on the planet? idgi. There was a brief moment like 10 years ago that Musk was a liberal darling and he could have cemented himself a good legacy by using that money to end hunger or homelessness and go down a hero but nope, it's all squandered on Big Balls and DOGE ripping away medicaid for millions to impress 'KekGroyper1488' on /b/

I've thought the same thing for a while, imagine how popular it would make you for probably a net neutral investment. Interestingly I think they're all so vapid and out of touch that they couldn't do it even if they tried.
I wouldnt even be doing it for popularity. It would be me buying stuff i like with my money. I want more cool art so I'd throw a fuckload of money at it being easier to make and get out there. No ulterior motive even needed. I think id also just kinds run out of personal stuff to buy really quick. Its like...a 2 story house, comfy furniture, a really nice bathrooms and kitchen and then im pretty much covered. Stuff i like is pretty cheap. I would have to fund cool things or I really wouldnt know what else to do
