I remember it like it was yesterday. There I was in class, horticultural entomology. My professor announced that an emerald ash borer leaves a D-shaped hole and a lilac/ash borer leaves a circular one. She said "D for disaster" and I thought "oh my god". That mnemonic device will stay with me forever.

I was in the 5th grade all my teachers were crying but I was happy I could go home and watch dragon ball z but then they showed the news instead
