LSF leaked and infected all the other subs at once. It was so obviously a planned brigade just like the Trash Taste one.

Fuckers lost their shit over fake and imaginary dog abuse when they didn't feel bad for babies being murdered in a genocide for the last 24 months.

It even bled into my peaceful VTuber feed. Now, there's obviously a lot of reactionary fans, but I have my feed carefully curated so it's basically just the VTubers themselves and the cool queer side of the fanbase. But a really prominent VTuber (who I suspect has pretty milquetoast succdem politics) made a tweet condemning it on their non-corporate account and it threw me for a loop. Thankfully, it seems that they realized that they had gone off half-cocked and deleted the tweet, but it was pretty surreal.

I think the fact that it involves a dog short-circuits people's critical thinking, and it also gets people who aren't very politically aware on-board who normally wouldn't wade into a political argument (and obviously no normal person is gonna know WTF "Destiny brigade on LivestreamFail" means, let alone be aware of it). Like, there is no chance in hell a corporate VTuber would directly tweet about Palestine, alt account or not, but this one unknowingly participated in a proxy war intended to discredit a prominent pro-Palestine voice.
