Still struggling to understand what the bourgeois gets out of destroying public health.
They want to destroy public health by redirecting spending from medical stuff to supplements and deregulated "medical" devices so their friends get rich off the grift.
We're a surplus population that isn't needed combined with a consumer market. If the capitalists needed Americans to be a healthy and productive workforce then we would have cheaper healthcare. Like fundamentally they don't care about us and all of neoliberalism is just looting society at large because it doesn't matter. To people like Thatcher society didn't even really exist.
Individualizing the lack of common good by blaming bad health outcomes on individual choices, cheaper taxes, more opportunities for private healthcare solutions, less regulation for polluters that cause environmental health risks, and a group of human cattle that are desperate to sell their organs, wombs, and fluids to the wealthy at bargain prices.
what does destroying public health do?
it kills poor people. why they want to do that varies by the monster
Public health will crumble as the empire crumbles regardless. Imo this is about priming part of the population to see no medicine as a good thing instead of revolting
