In the "all transphobia is recycled homophobia" mantra it seems the CHUDs are attempting to
Resurrect the highly discredited Scott Lively's "The Pink Swastika" (cw extreme homophobia nazis) / queers are inherently extremely violent and need to be contained / restrained line.
Attempt to pass gun control laws against queers so violence and terror against them is more easy.

His theory of two types of trans people: autogynephilia and homosexual trans.The former are people who transition solely because its a fetish and they find it arousing to be a woman, and the latter are the “less bad” trans people are men who are attracted to men but are so feminine they ‘might as well’ be heterosexual women.
What’s even more weird is some trans people adopt this theory. When I was in college someone once accused me of having AGP because I made a dumb femboy UwU joke, and when I asked “what”? She then said she was HSTS and knows ‘real’ trans people from the “fakes”. Keep in mind I am not trans, I am literally the grungler stereotype. Once again, if you’re cis and you think that transphobia will never come back to bite you, you’re wrong.
