yeah and it's really insidious because I think the natural response to a liberal hearing about it when capitalism is in crisis is like "aight, bet" so they end up halfheartedly supporting bandaid measures and never thinking to address how capitalism itself is an inherently exploitative machine that grinds people's lives for its fuel because they think if they just defeat the conservatives and get their bandaids it'll all get better
