This is probably a tedious thing to say, but I hate when something gets called "inappropriate" in such a generalized context. Isn't it supposed to describe an action not suiting a situation, like gratuitously yelling around someone who has a weak heart or opening an umbrella indoors or something? So what's the situation here? Using a search engine? What makes looking for anything that's legal inherently "inappropriate"? You want pictures, the website has pictures, they have those words to find them with, and no laws are being broken. You can call it tasteless, but how could it be inappropriate?
idk I see people using that term . . . inappropriately surprisingly often
Inappropriate sounds a lot less censorial than "You shouldn't be looking at this because it might give you ideas we don't care for!"
