Update 2: There is footage which shows Charlie Kirk taking what seems to be a fatal gunshot to the neck. I will not post it here.

Update 3: Hasan Piker watched the clip on stream and confirmed that Kirk took the fatal shot. Piker was visibly shaken as he was supposed to debate Kirk at Dartmouth University in 15 days.

I do wonder if he'll now go down as some hero

also I still can't believe someone just shot the guy

such a frequent face and voice on my feed over the years

always felt like he'd be seen as a bit of a joke in 10 years time. More recently he started to get some mainstream cred but was still sort of seen as like... a Ben Shapiro getting angry at children's movies type figure...

... then someone just went and shot him in the fucking neck...

I feel a bit of sympathy for him because I don't think he ever imagined it would come to that - yes I know he's a smug racist asshole - but even when he pissed me off I mainly just wished someone would punch him in the face a few times. Hadn't even considered someone would ever shoot him.

When you think assassination you think MLK, JFK, Trump, Lennon, and so on and on - all these 'great men' of history - and then here's this grifting shithead who's going to end up with a statue that grins over the new Dennis Prager wing of the Whitehouse.

He was spreading transphobia up until the moment he was shot, specifically blaming mass shootings on trans people. I feel more sympathy for pond scum.

Yeah I just saw the clip of him beforehand throwing maga hats around like a bellend, winking and all that, any video I see of him other than the one he gets shot in makes me realise it's no tragedy that he's gone

Its not bad to be empathetic its good that you care for humans that you see coming to harm, just don't forget this was a rabid beast not a human person who would care about you the same way you're showing them :)

The kids don't deserve it (not that their reaction should factor into evaluating the killing, it's just an unfortunate fact). The spouse obviously deserves it a thousand times over and so does the rest of his family that didn't disown him, especially his dad (who was a piece of shit in his own right iirc).
