Trump got the NRA to come out and oppose his proposal of banning trans people from owning guns. 
Will chuds now start attacking the NRA and call them woke? 
This is good point to highlight. This dynamic of "passing privileges" is definitely part of the recuperation of radicalism back into the liberal status quo. Much like "model minority" and other similar processes that coerce people to contort themselves in the hope of acceptance as "one of the good ones".
