I am only 1 man and I've been trying to stop getting bread. I mostly use it to bake marmite scrolls
Marmite and cheese scrolls are where it is at.
That's a good use for it!
With three kids now at school, we are going through about 6 loaves of bread a week. Lots of marmite too, though more Nutella (and that one kid that likes Nutella and Marmite on the same sandwich).
I don't know how my parents kept up with me when I was an early teenager in a growing spurt. It wasn't uncommon for me to eat 4 pieces of toast at breakfast, alongside 6-12 weetbix, go to school, eat whatever I had for lunch there, come home, eat another 4-8 pieces of toast, or 4 toast, 1 instant noodles as an afternoon snack, and then eat dinner as well. I think i was basically eating 2-3 loaves of bread a week by myself.
Oh yeah I don't think I was quite as hungry as you, but if I ate as much food now as I did then I'd be wider than I am tall.
I wasnt allowed Nutella as a kid. My mum had a fucking vendetta against it for some reason. I'd have to go to friends houses to have it. Nutella is pretty dam good but combining it with Marmite should be illegal.
Nutella was a luxury when I was a kid (to be fair, my kids mostly get off-brand so real nutella is still a luxury). I never liked it though. I still don't like it, but I can understand that a marmite/nutella savory/sweet combo could work.
When I was a kid I used to put marmite and golden syrup on the same sandwich for a similar combo.
