Where is this?
North Fremont Pl, Seattle
When I first learned that's where this statue was, I almost couldn't believe it. Then you learn that the only reason it is there is that someone bought it once, needed a place to put it while they were figuring out what to do with it, then died, and it just became part of the outdoor space. I guess it's technically on private property and no one has decided to buy it even though it is for sale, so there is a fun irony that Lenin stands in America only because private property sheilds him from removal.
