This is a pretty niche question for any educators who work with remote or hybrid classrooms. I'm wondering what LMS alternatives to Google Classroom people have had positive experiences with.

Brightspace and Blackboard tend to be the go-to, BUT--they can be quite difficult for learners to navigate if they have low digital literacy, and also they can be pretty pricey.

Google Classroom is fairly simple to navigate, many learners already have Google Accounts, and also Classroom works on just about any device. It is free, too. HOWEVER, it's Google, which is absolutely awful.

Thank you for taking the time to answer! This looks like a really interesting option for an online synchronous classroom, but I'm not sure it's a good Google Classroom replacement for asynchronous course delivery. I will definitely look into it more though!
