Now I'm no architect, and maybe material science is more advanced than I realize, but for such a large space that isn't made entirely of sheet metal and girders, you would typically want some kind of support in the middle right? To stop the ceiling from falling in?

I don't know shit about fuck, but it seems like one can do incredible things distributing loads with steel trusses. that's how they do with like superwalmarts and Costco type places, where it's like 3 acres with one giant room and no support pillars in the middle.

I do not know how that jives with supporting the weight of a secure, hardened roof with like weapons platforms and shit. my guess is it's gonna be a deluxe cock up.
