The AIA & National Trust should take him to court to prevent this! He should not be able to make permanent changes to the historic building that belongs to the American people.

I don't know shit about fuck, but it seems like one can do incredible things distributing loads with steel trusses. that's how they do with like superwalmarts and Costco type places, where it's like 3 acres with one giant room and no support pillars in the middle.

I do not know how that jives with supporting the weight of a secure, hardened roof with like weapons platforms and shit. my guess is it's gonna be a deluxe cock up.
