It's a bit different in the US because the campaigns have their own infrastructure mostly. I'm not sure if Zoran really needs to use any shared Democratic Party campaigning infrastructure. The parties aren't really traditional political parties like they are in the UK.
So even though Democrats are going to try to sabotage him, it isn't like they'll be able to do it from inside his campaign.
