When I had appendix surgery, the pain when waking up was seriously awful. I've gotten really woozy and nauseous from morphine before, so I asked for something else to deal with the unbearable pain, and they gave me a crumb of fentanyl. All my pain was gone in the blink of an eye. It really is an effective drug
