Heya Everyone, new Mega time and for it, I'm gonna advertise a TTRPG system called Thirsty Sword Lesbians.
A sword duel can end in kissing, a witch can gain her power by helping others find love, and an entire campaign can be built around wandering matchmakers flying from system to system.
Thirsty Sword Lesbians is a roleplaying game for telling queer stories with friends. If you love angsty disaster lesbians with swords, you have come to the right place.
In this book, youβll find:
Flirting, sword-fighting, and zingers in a system designed for both narrative drama and player safety.
An innovative take on the Powered by the Apocalypse family of games.
Nine character types, each focusing on a particular emotional conflict: Beast, Chosen, Devoted, Infamous, Nature Witch, Scoundrel, Seeker, Spooky Witch, and Trickster.
Guidance and support for running the game, including how to make appealing adversaries, set the tone, pace the game, and structure play.
Tools to create your own settings and stories, alongside a dozen pre-written options including the cyberpunk Neon City 2099, steamfunk poets battling oppression as Les Violettes Dangereuses, laser swords and intrigue in the Starcross Galaxy, and more.
World building worksheet for custom scenarios and starting scenario seeds to play with: Best Day of Their Lives, The Constellation Festival, Gal Paladins, and Sword Lesbians of the Three Houses Variant rules to highlight different identities, emotional connections, and setting elements.
Strategies to adapt any setting where swords cross and hearts race for Thirsty Sword Lesbians.
Here's a link to their website, I did copy everything over directly from it because I put off writing the Mega this week. I was drawing a blank on what I wanted to talk about.

As a reminder, please do not discuss current struggle sessions in the mega. We want this to be a little oasis for all of us and the best way to do that is not to feed into existing conflict on the site.
Also, be sure to properly give content warnings and put sensitive subjects behind proper spoiler tags. It's for the mental health of not just your comrades, but yourself as well.
Here is a screenshot of where to find the spoiler button.

donβt bring my wife into this
I know you're having a hard time. I do wanna reassure you that what you did was very brave the other day, you didn't look at yourself for a very long time ans it matters that you a) decided to do it the day before and b) actually followed through.
We are the worst judges of ourselves. I have met so few trans women with a healthy and objective view of how they look. Beautiful women that pass have cried about how they were ruined by wrong puberty. It's not true but I know how hard it is to look at yourself without the dark glow of dysphoria smudging the image. Which is why I think you should get someone you love, someone whose opinion you trust (I hope), someone who loves you, and have them tell you how beautiful you are - just for the time being until you can build that sense of confidence and self-assurance in yourself, like borrowing your wife's eyes for a bit lol.
same content warnings as yours above
You're not a freak. Maybe weight cycling and sticking to this steady dose will help femme out your body, you probably should gain some weight from what you've said before about your BMI - but only because it's healthy lol. Your body needs body fat to move around to more feminine zones, thats true. You could try it if you're comfortable, you won't ruin anything. But that's all a really hard struggle for cis women, nevermind trans women.
The girl in the mirror is worth fighting for no matter how she looks. It's trite, but imagine seeing a trans woman on the street (suppose she has a big "Im Trans" sticker on so you actually could tell, and its a hypothetical anyway) - someone who looks how you think you look. Is she not worth fighting for? If she's struggling, would you say the same things you tell yourself? Would you tell her her only recourse is laser and body fat and E and if it doesn't work... well you'll tell her she should do what you hinted at? If you wouldn't do it to a stranger, if you wouldn't do it to a treasured friend or family member, don't do it to yourself. Those automatic thoughts ("Im not beautiful" or "I will never pass" or "Im worthless") are like passing clouds and youre like a mountain, you can learn to let them pass and make no impact on yourself and one day the proverbial sky of your mind will be clear of them. It takes work and attention to do but it happens.
You are worthy and loveable (you have a whole wife for proof lol). And I'm sure you look very pretty and you get passing points for being so short.
People act like being short is some great asset, but every passing trans girl on Twitter is like 5β11+
You're not on twitter where you get to pose and filter and edit and present the best shot of yourself as if it was candid and pretend you didn't prep and no one can compare how tall or short you are to other people unless you okayed the shot, you're in real life and you deserve to be treated with respect and care and love regardless of if you "pass" or don't
Because being tall is a terrible one
So is being ugly
