At the top of the hour I sometimes watch cable news. But if they are talking about Trump's moronic trade war seriously - I have to close the tab. I can't even hate watch. "I wonder what he's hoping to accomplish."

This morning at 10 am, Trump announced completing his first trade deal. It was with TERF Island. He spoke over the phone with Kid Starver and then he took questions from the press.

I'll paraphrase a soundbite I heard yesterday on MSNBC. Emphasis mine.

The easiest trade deal Trump can make is probably going to be with the UK... Because US-UK trade involves a lot of services... And Trump doesn't seem to care about services.

I almost started laughing. I should have expected that President Jellybean Brain might not even understand what "services" are or why they are valuable. What are they even? They aren't on ships and they aren't in shipping containers.
