This was supposed to be a post shitting on bad dads but I guess this is just another aspect of life that I got shit luck on and most people don’t hate their father.

Nope. I feel somewhat guilty admitting it, because he tried to be a good dad. But ultimately I think even him trying to be a good dad was motivated by selfish concerns. He's also hardcore MAGA, so go figure.
