So are we just going to keep posting this every month until society collapses and most of us die within 10-20 years?
We're going to defund NOAA so it can't be posted and won't be real!
NOAA will be dismantled first (or they will be forced to massage these numbers somehow)

Honestly, at this point, this sounds like the optimistic outlook.
It’ll take longer that that and society won’t collapse without us experiencing some very painful death throes first. Gonna be a pretty wild ride. I feel bad for our children and their children most of all.
If covid and Trump have taught me anything it's that the majority of people aren't willing to do a damned thing until they themselves are hurt in some way. Based on this and my experience with peoples' unwillingness to admit they're wrong, I'd say we'll keep going until the majority of people tap-out from the heat.
In other words, we're just screwed.
