I came from the first reddit exodus and it's been great over here. You'll get used to it in no time, I promise.
So did I but be careful or you well also get swept up by the brainwashing here, buying a Pixel to run grapheneos, installing Linux on everything, buy privacy respecting email services, VPN and paranoid of everything. BTW I use NixOS and I am still mostly sane.

I don't own a smartphone thank you, so I won't be getting a pixel. Already been running Linux for 15 years or so now.
Damn I am jealous, smartphone is pretty much a necessity for me now
I use a Pixel 7 (with GraphineOS) and a Librebooted Thinkpad T440p with Arch btw, also I use MullvadVPN and encrypted communication whenever possible.
