Also, why the fuck did they conquer the Dominican Republic but not Haiti?

The Dominican Republic is famous for its resorts. Haiti is too "dark" for the MAGA people.

I mean the us also occupied the Dominican republic (and Haiti) due to fear of german influence in the 1910s
