It could take years for the ICJ to deliver judgment in the case
2036: the last couple of palestinians are so relieved to hear that what happened to them was legally genocide. unfortunately, everyone named in the icj suit has long since died from crybully rage-induced aneurisms
This is normal for the ICJ with the median age of the judges being 57. They also have secondary jobs and were only assigned the positions through volunteering and they don’t receive any pay except through reimbursements for travel. The British ICJ judge works at a chippy believe it or not
Might be normal, but its also why these institutions aren't useful in resisting genocide
