I mean who's on wifi at a parade? I guess a couple people might be connected to nearby businesses' wifi, but most people on their phones will be on 4G and unaffected.

And yeah cell disruption either by jamming or stingray is seemingly common at protests.

Oh and the drone gun I linked below in the thread does targeted GPS/GNSS jamming too. But that needs to be spotted and aimed
