well, there's nothing you can do to "look trans" unless you want to reproduce some really fucked up stereotypes. maybe it's best not to use transness as something to offend others? to utilize a lived reality as something to get a rise out of somebody. just my advice as a trans person.

exactly what im thinking. i don't know how you can make an outfit "look trans". feels reeeaally iffy to even say.

i don't really know what to suggest that won't reproduce harmful stereotypes. what's wrong with just doing drag? conservatives fucking hate that and they can't even tell the difference between being trans and doing drag.

i have literally never seen these terms used in any other way than like, people basically calling me a man or at least not seriously a woman or differentiating me from womanhood in some way. like, for the cis "allies" who think it's inclusive but also feel uncomfortable with allowing me into womanhood, so to speak. designations on genitalia like this are genuinely only useful in a medical setting and none else.

wanna add when it comes to the brushes/combs that a wet brush through the hair while it’s soaked + conditioned in the shower is going to do an amazing job of detangling and distributing the conditioner throughout the length of each strand. this is the thing that really changed things for me wrt clumps of tangles and matting.

usually an unscented body wash (for the fall though, i’ve been using a bath and body works pumpkin cake scented body wash. the unscented soap is good for making sure there isn’t too many scents going on and i’ve been healing several tattoos at the same time currently so i just use unscented all over). a body lotion after showering can be really nice too and will last a while. secret clinical strength gel deodorant, and a little fragrance mist or perfume. in the warmer months i use a floral one, hummingbird by the zoologist (expensive indie fragrance so i just live off samples), and in the colder months, a cheap vanilla bourbon body mist from target.

it’s incredibly easy to get ~100g of protein a day in without eating a single animal product. a good amount of tofu in each meal will get you there really quickly.

love and pigeons!! nice little romance movie i really like. it’s just a well made film with a lot of big name soviet actors. it also centers around the main character going on a state sponsored mandated vacation which is nice to think about in a capitalist dystopia.
