Well this is likely another step toward eliminating it altogether. Clearly they won't sell many, if any, at that price point, which is egregiously expensive, and will use that as justification to end it altogether, including for those of us who have long been such a paid member (I got a lifetime Plex Pass when it was $50 back in like 2009 or 2010, whenever they first began the program). And they'll act like they have no choice.

I suppose I need to set up Jellyfin and start looking at how best to convert family I have connected.

Or, more likely, I was making a joke...

You're immortal

How do you survive...?

I think you answered your own question.

Why the fuck does everything that's good turn to shit? This world sucks. This timeline sucks.

A moron loves and adores another moron. In other news, water is still wet.

Trump can go fuck himself with his micropenis. If only that heart attack will finally get off its ass and do the job.

Yes it is. Language and meaning don't simply change in 10-20 years unless forced upon (such as a conqueror forcing culture). Neologisms are a thing, and that's fine (though I would argue "bling" is a garbage word :) ), but using "literally" to mean "not literally" is redefining the whole purpose of the word in such a short context of time simply because of ignorance. Therefore, I assert what I argued already -- it's not widely accepted -- just widely misused.

"widely accepted"

Yeah, no. People who use it incorrectly simply don't understand language or meaning. Just because there's a lot of people who misuse the word doesn't mean it's widely accepted. A lot of people believe in a god, doesn't make it true.

A-hahahahahahaha. AHAHAHAHAHAHA. AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! breathes deeply AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I didn't realize they offered a NWD option.

Just because it likely won't happen doesn't mean it can't happen. And you seem to have purposefully left out the rest of my sentence: "to enshrine the VRA, etc – of course the states have to ratify which could be a tall order."

This is the kind of cherry-picking that runs rampant in discourse today and adds literally nothing to the conversation.

Given that many "right-wing" sites are full of lies, bigotry, and hate, I think I'm quite fine with this.
