I had the same reaction. But apparently it does. I guess because they realized there is no real alternative to youtube.

Ja letztens kam es bei mir zu einem spontanen Teppichbrand. Passiert halt.

As a foreigner it is difficult to differentiate between them or rather: if the country as whole is politically mainly represented by these things there is not much a foreigner can do instead of being anti american.

Hat doch damit nichts zu tun. Ich meine nur wenn man sich schon die Mühe macht darauf zu achten, dann doch auch gleich zu einem Stromtarif bei dem man mit so einem Verhalten auch durch einen günstigeren Preis profitiert.

Yeah but still I rather use a company like spotify than companies from a fascist country. And spotify replaced youtube for me which I lately mainly used to watch veritasium which is now also available on spotify (even without the in-video ads).

Also, your phone can get located and your phone calls can be intercepted only by knowing your phone number (look up ss7 attack)

  1. I think fighting billionaires in their wallets is the exact wrong way because they have so much money it doesn't even affect their personal life when they lose 90% or more of their wealth.

  2. Musk already is in a position of power which no money of the world can (or maybe should) buy you. So even if he loses all his money he will still have that power and continue to abuse it.
