Lol that's not where I thought you were going with this, okay uhh how about granddad's sporterized Mauser M18 with a $2,000 scope?

Agree on your analysis and assessment of the psychology behind the industry. I have a pepper spray canister with a lil' pocket clip and a top that flicks up with the thumb to access the button so its fairly accessible. I wouldn't be confident using a blade for self defense, getting CCW permit for a firearm is fairly obtainable where I live but I wouldn't be comfortable carrying everyday, having a gun on me would make me so paranoid. Avoiding the situation, escaping the situation, giving up the loot if that means staying safe, absolutely right.
Aldi got organic tofu at $1.40 you better believe I'm beancurdpilled
I want someone fired right the fuck now for a staged self victimization or else I'm going to January 6 this Starbucks.
I know this is a shitpost but I was thinking the other day if there is ever any use for an extendable baton as a self defense weapon and I feel like the answer is no. My understanding is that if its use were legally justifiable then you're already in a situation where you are in grave danger. And the baton would let you hurt someone but not really disable their attack if they were determined to getcha. Whereas pepper spray would temporarily disable them, hard, while also not putting you in legal jeopardy if you were a bit to quick to use it. If I'm wrong lemme know cuz I'm totally the kind of rube who could be convinced to buy an asp or collapsible baton or whatnot.
Also Brace Belden says he carries a sap which is pretty funny and also a point in favor of bludgeoning weapons.
Yeah the kielbasa ones are good too. When I had some I made a dish of cabbage and noodles with mock sausge, and the wheat pasta plus the vital wheat gluten was just too much wheat though lol, and I'm not like gluten averse or anything. I wonder how they'd hold up in a stew, they hold their shape pretty well and I'd imagine more so if you put them in a frying pan for a little while first. If there's an Aldi near you they have a decent vegan meatball offering.
Thank you I'll start trying to incorporate it into things and thanks for the cashew sauce recipe.
That 'Action Man: Battlefield Casualties' video goes hard, CW for drug and alcohol abuse and self harm though so heads up for anyone coming to the thread later.
I bought a big shaker can for a reasonable price when I was trying to make a ground beef style tofu preparation. That recipe didn't work out for me, but I'd been meaning to use it. I know people make a vegan mac and cheese with it, and that causes some polarizing opinions lol. Are there like specific recipes for it or would I just add it in to things I'm trying to change the macros of?
I was gonna shout out the Tofurkey brand of sausages, this is where they get their protein from. They make a kielbasa style and an Italian style that is my favorite, probably some other flavors. Slice 'em and fry em, dice 'em up and add to soups, and they're affordable which I feel like other meat substitutes suffer on.
Sorry I was sparse on the details, yes the shooter had an AR-15 with a suppressor. It wasn't clear what the detectives who went into the house were armed with. It was also not clear how TaCtIcAl the entry was so I may have overstated things in my spoiler tagged bit above. The two officers in the street, one was a sheriff's deputy armed with a pistol, he was shot then got his rifle, and the other was a detective with a rifle.
Thanks it's fun to have roll-your-own seasoning blends, I'll play with this. I often default to seasoned salt on things this looks like a way to add a lot more flavor with the same amount of saltiness. When the other poster said add it to savory dishes my mind immediately went to adding nooch to mashed potatoes and gravy.
