Censorship is becoming a major problem, all these streaming sites control everything now, they can do whatever they want with the movies it seems, the free streaming sites usually edit the movies and I found Amazon did a few times as well back when I was using that crap, when those movies aren't available anywhere else and the streaming ones are all censored then people have to essentially break the law to see the original movie, which I have no personal problem with, but it's just a hassle. Hang on to that physical media. I know this is about music but it's basically the same.

It could be they are trying to figure something out, or it was the last time they were really happy. People have all sorts of reasons for locking themselves into something, sometimes you don't even need a reason and your brain just does it anyways because who doesn't like doing things that make them feel good. I myself was perpetually stuck in the 90s, since it was the last time I really had a great friends group, who I now realize would make absolutely wonderful allies had I realized what my deal was at the time. Instead I just retreated and locked myself away for a great many years instead of nailing down the source of my anxiety and uncertainty and feeling alien. Listening to the same music, watching the same movies. I'm not saying that's anyone else's reason, but it could be.

There is nothing to be neutral about, it's people. You either support people or you don't. I guess the University of Chicago has decided they don't want to support people, that's a real damn shame. It's sad this has been made a such an issue out of nothing. Just let people be.
