I thought this was spam but that's just the video description copypasted into the post. You might not want to do that in the future.

Its automatic in piefed and peertube. Its part of the interop.

I really want to like GIMP to replace Photoshop which I used extensively on Win but I'm an experimenter and if I can't do random things without it crashing all the time it's not going to work for me. I've spent a bit of time with it and every time I try to do something I get some strange error message about the undo cache or it will just crash. Maybe I just need to give it a bit more time, the UI and the tools seem fine just the stability. Any ideas?

Did you try increasing the cache size?

But oh, well, if he has noticeable lags in W11 VM opening a small file in Illustrator, with his hardware, it's just not an option for most users (who won't likely config it better). And it's nice that he have A LOT of tutorials on Linux-native alternatives.
