I have wanted a larger piece for a while, an astronaut to memorialize my brother. There's an artist up the street from us that has a really interesting style but he's always booked. In the city there's an American traditional place that my wife and I have been to multiple times. I think I'll just wander in one day when I have nothing else to do lol

58008 And you tell people they can turn you upside down
Joke aside, I knew a guy who had some version of Binet formula tattooed on his shoulder. I thought it was clever and has an interesting history, and if people ask you can talk about Fibonacci and golden mean and art and the renaissance period and etc
I had some personalized with different colored handles and etchings for our wedding party gifts a few years ago. Funny thing was I had a couple guys thinking ... what is this weird plastic thing. Meanwhile the rest of them, who knew, got teary eyed. They are all now every day carries and necessities on fishing/camping trips.
Go to the general and save some time!
In the very early days of the Internet, if your mom's friend called to gossip it meant you had to reset the 5 hour countdown on downloading that single image.
MOMMMMM!!!!
Happy mother's day all
Part of the reason why we differntiate consent and enthusiastic consent
100 percent I want to watch that doc.
But also 100 percent I'm hitting pause if my wife just comes out and says she wants me to smelt her nickel
There was a stand up bit I remember from many years ago, before AI was a thing. It was about how having a search engine in our pockets has ruined human experiences. If you ask a friend a question it's like, I don't know, but I will in five seconds.
It used to be if you didn't know something... You just didn't know. Like listening to music and suddenly thinking... where is Tom Petty from? And you would ask your friends and they didn't know. And you'd go through life just occasionally wondering. And years later one day you would see a stranger walking up the street in a Heartbreakers T-shirt. And you would introduce yourself and ask where is Tom Petty from? And they would say Florida. And after so many years of wondering , a wave of emotions would come over you. And you ended up marrying that person.
That's what smart phones have taken from us.
It was a very funny bit and I feel like AI is that, taken to extremes.
Right? like guess what, I've got good news for you Tom. Also, stick your hands in this psychic jelly to help navigate
Yeah that stuff is made in a lab and tastes awful on it's own. It's the sort of thing you add a couple drops to a whole pot of food when you want to up the heat without changing the flavor.
Rats are great pets. Mice are not. Too many diseases they carry that will mess up your whole life.
To all the people who feel the same as OP... this person got the key for ya
Find people who do care
I think specifics help so:
Donate time to food not bombs Donate blood/marrow with red cross Donate money to doctors without borders Tell everyone you know about it (it's not bragging no matter what they say)
Tell me to stfu and you go find your own thing to contribute to
All those people will happily connect you with more you can do locally, even if it's just going to an event and participating and maybe bring a friend. Bonus, the food is usually bangin
What a beautiful concept. This post made me laugh too because bonsai require quite a lot of patience
